I will always remember Dick's warm smile and sweet spirit. A kind man of integrity and quiet strength. Our family's time at Packard Road Baptist Church was sweeter because of Dick's presence. My prayers are with you Valma and family.

So sorry to hear of Dick's passing. He was my faculty adviser at UMSPH. He guided me through a MS program that fit my skills and interests, and helped me to a successful career in applied biostatistics.

So sorry to learn of Dick's death. He was my supervisor in Atlanta from 1957 to 1959 as members of the Epidemic Intelligence Service at CDC. He was a good boss and encouraged me to go to graduate school. Advice I took. I remember lots of good times and business trips we took together.
