May 19, 1993 – Oct 27, 2023 (Age 30)
Our beloved Richard Rolin Courter entered into rest unexpectedly on his drive home on October 27th in Yuma, Arizona at the age of 30.
Richard is survived by his wife, Jaci Ward; his daughter, Presley Ann Hope Courter; his son, Ford Rolin Courter; parents, Pat Courter, Shelley Dewitt, and their families; siblings, Eric, Derek, Shelby Courter, and their families. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Lynn Heath, Lois Harrington and Herman Slye.
Richard was born on May 19th, 1993, in Indio, California at JFK Hospital to Shelley Dewitt and Pat Courter. He graduated from Palo Verde High School in 2011. He married Jaci, his best friend and the love of his life on September 14th, 2019. He resided in Blythe, CA. Richard began working for Extreme Auto Body as a Paint Technician. The couple welcomed their daughter in 2019 and their son in 2023.
His children were his world and will remember him as a loving, playful, caring, kind, hard working dad who would move mountains for them and encouraged them to always chase their dreams.
Richard loved riding his dirt bike, fishing, working with his hands, fixing anything and everything that needed to be fixed, and most of all he loved spending time with his family and friends. He was generous with his time, always being the first one to show up when anyone needed a helping hand. Everyone who knew him knew he had the biggest heart.
Please join us for a celebration of life and potluck service officiated by Pastor Sam Burton on November 10th, 2023 3:00PM-6:00PM at Blythe Golf Course, 3480 Quail Run Road, Blythe CA, 92225.
