Not sure what to say?

I am SO sorry! I was shocked to find out. He was a fun fellow, generous artist and amazing performer. Worked with him at the Santa Fe Opera back in 1992. May God rest his soul...

Time helps us by putting our lost loved ones tucked into our hearts and minds ever more securely.....but their loss is still a heartache. Hope this Thanksgiving is a blessed one for your whole family. Jack & Meg McGarry

I Remember Rick from Drama performances in High school. He was a favorite of Mr Mularo. Always sad when classmates leave too soon

Rest in Peace, Ricky, whom I knew him as in preschool, grade school, jr. high and high school. we were best friends in the younger years. I'm saddened by his passing.

As Clevelander new to Chicago, I had the pleasure of meeting Rick back stage at Lyric Opera. It was the 1985-86 season's production of Die Meistersinger Von Nürnberg. We shared a friend from Cleveland (Mark Fetko) but neither of us had met. I shall never forget the warmth he showed me when I revealed our connection. He signed my program above his photo. To the family...peace be yours. Rest well, Rick,

We were classmates at Euclid Senior High School. I recall him singing, It Ain't Necessarily So from Porgy and Bess. It was a moving experience for me. He will be missed.

I had the opportunity to work with Richard at the San Francisco Opera and the Greater Miami Opera during the early days of his career, and am very saddened to hear of his passing. He was a charismatic man and a wonderful, dedicated performer... My condolences to his family.

This is very sad news. Richard and I were good friends in high school. Even though I haven't seen Richard in a number of years, I have been following his amazing career. Richard will be missed.
