DEAR TRACY, I MET RICH ON THE HAM RADIO THEN IN PERSON IN THE TIMES PARKING LOT ONE NIGHT WHILE TALKING ON CB RADIO. I TOLD HIM THAT HIS VOICE SOUNDED LIKE SOMEONE I TALKED TO ON HAM RADIO NAME RICHARD AND SAID THAT WAS HIM. WE ENJOYED OUR CONVERSATION. I RETIRED THEIR JAN 2000. Though you may not know me, I knew Rich. I was down visiting Tom, KA1UGH about 3 years ago and was lucky to meet him. I first started talking to Rich on echo link and he always made me laugh when I was having a down day. My husband and I will miss him dearly. My condolences go to you and your family. You will be in my thoughts and prayers.

Hello Tracy,
So very sorry for your loss.
Met Richard many years ago after he got his first ham license. I think you both were at several of the 64 Repeater Group picnics where Rich would volunteer to man the grill for us. He always had us laughing and in stitches.
Truely one of the GOOD GUYS !!! He will be Greatly missed.He was loved by most all he knew. What a wonderful legacy to leave behind. We all desire to leave our mark and be remembered by our peers,well Richard has...

I,m sorry here about Rich,s death. I enjoyed talking to Rich he seemed to be a very good person to talk to.

I and the echo link group can't say enough good things about Rich. He will always be in our thoughts and prayers every night when the group gathers. Rich sure had a way of bringing joy to whoever he was with or talking too.

Bob and I are so sorry to hear of Rick's passing. He was a
wonderful co-worker of mine for many years at Flav-O- Rich and Velda
