DICK CRAGO shall be fondly remembered forever by all who knew or met or heard him over time.

I was fortunate to work with Dick for a few Spring Trainings. I loved listening to his stories and learning so much. An all around good guy. You will be missed.

Dick was a GREAT husband father citizen he was part of the greatest generation a WW II veteran it was a privelage To know him

We grieve with the family as we remember Dick as a fatherly/grandfatherly figure to so many at First Presbyterian Church. He and Harriet were always among the first faces we sought out when home and among the smiles we enjoyed the most. He always had a story to share.

Dick was a great friend. He became the sound of spring and made Holman Stadium that much more special. One year we needed him to fill in for a VB Dodgers regular season game. It was simply amazing to hear him do a minor league game. I miss him, even though I have been gone from VB for 13 years.

Whatever I may be professionally, I owe a great deal of it to Dick Crago. I learned lessons not only of our shared passion, broadcasting, but of life--partcularly, living it with both integrity and style. He was unique, remarkable, and irreplaceable.
