Cruel fate gave you so little time after your harsh diagnosis. How unfair. My deepest thanks for inviting me into your band of musical misfits way back when. I've been listening to your Spring Fallout album again with something like shock and awe. Your many science/math accomplishments have overshadowed your brief but intense musical career. We are so sorry to hear this news. Our thoughts and prayers are with your family. I really enjoyed my contacts with Richard over many years. He was a brilliant man.
He was a very entertaining charismatic professor who also gave talks for amateur astronomy groups. He will be greatly missed.
