Richard D. Cranson

Dick Cranson and I were classmates at Sanderson Academy class of 1955. I had hoped to see him at the 70th reunion at the Ashfield Rod and Gun club in Plainfield. Sorry you couldn't make it Richard. We were in boy scouts together and played baseball and basketball together. I had not seen him sense the 50s. Now I missed my chance. Classmates will remember our class trip in 1955 which included Washington DC and a trip down the Mississippi. Those were the days!

I met Richard many years ago at the Itam in Pittsfield. He surely loved to dance. He was always a thoughtful gentleman who made sure that a single lady had at least one dance for the evening with him. I will miss him. Thank you Richard

I met Dick at the Z Barn in Berlin New York and we became instant friends, I will surely miss him.

I met Richard when he was a Private at Marine Corps Recruit Depot Parris Island I was from from Shelburne Falls so this was quite a surprise. I hope you schedule the USMC honor guard for his services. (contact the VA in Greenfield) Regards Gordon Koncal MGYSGT USMC Ret.
