Not sure what to say?

Dear Carole,

I have just found out about Dick's passing through the Michigan State alumni magazine. I met Dick when we were freshmen in West Shaw Hall. We then were roommates in our sophomore year. After that, he went into an apartment and I went into a coop house. The only contact we had after that was a call I made to him in 1988 when I was on my way to Australia through Los Angles.

I am deeply sorrowed at his passing. Although we had little contact, I felt a deep connect to...

The Staff of Broadview Branch Library join the family in mourning a good kind man who provided excellent leadership overseeing our Evening Book Group for many years. We truly miss him.

Dick and I saw eye to eye on 90% and laughed about the other 10. A friend lost, but not without leaving a legacy to be remembered and treasured

I just learned of Dr. Crew's passing. He was a wonderful man and I enjoyed my time with him at Misericordia. He knew my humor and was great at giving it back to me. One of my fondest memories is him "hooding" me before graduation. RIP sir

As a former student in Dr. Crew's Leadership class, I learned a plethora of valuable information that has helped me become a better person and leader as I move forward with my educational goals. He was a great influence in my professional and personal development and I'm forever grateful. My sincere condolences to you.

Dick changed my life when he taught my Human Communications course my first year at Misericordia. He continued to impact my educational journey straight through grad school and I am forever grateful for his wisdom and encouragement. It was a blessing to have had him in my life as a mentor and influence. Thank you for sharing your light in this world and for living a life so full. Much love and many blessings to the family during this difficult time.

Dear Carole.
I am so very sorry to hear about Dick's passing. Please know that you and your family are in my prayers.
Peace,
Becky Steinberger

Sorry for your loss. I send my deepest sympathies. Melissa Sgroi

Dick and I were close friends at Alma High School and often double dated. after we graduated we lost track of each other but both ended up teaching at the college level and I am saddened to learn of his passing. A fine man from a fine family. May he rest in peace. He ran the "good race " and was a contributor to our country. my prayers are with the family.
