Dear Carrie,
I'm so sorry to hear about your father. How wonderful that you and your family were able to share his last day with him. I'm sure you all have many loving memories of him that will help you to face this difficult time. Your friends are all thinking of you and your family.

Rick was a class act. His locker was across from mine at Merion Cricket. He was one of the neater companions in a group of otherwise disarrayed gentlemen. And he was that, a gentleman and a gracious sportman. Synpathies to the family. I have absolutely no doubt he left wonderful mamories for each of you.

Dear Carrie, It is so hard to know what to say when someone passes whom you did not know. But judging from his offspring, he must have been a wonderful guy. Strenghth to you and your family.
