I have known Rick for many years and had the opportunity to reconnect with him last year. He was just as sharp and witty as he was 30 years ago. It was a pleasure to have known him. Thoughts and prayers to his family.

Rick, I will miss you terribly. We certainly had our ups and downs over 30+ years, but am so grateful we found a real connection in the last 10 years. My deepest condolences to your family. You were one of a kind...

I had a wonderful friendship with Rick for more than three decades. We had a chance to visit a number of times over the last couple years and I enjoyed it each and every time. There was a lot of history, and relationships mattered tremendously to Rick. I am grateful for his friendship and send condolences to the family for their loss.

Rick I will always remember the good times we had and the true friendship you provided. We all get dealt some bad hands, but you always faced them head on and never played the victim. A good role model, in that sense, to everyone. Our thoughts are with Joie, Don and your sons. RIP my friend.
