Not sure what to say?

Remembering my lovely cousin Richard. He looked after me so lovingly whenever I visited as a child during summer holidays as a child. His Sister Anne likewise. He was so intelligent and focused on becoming a Doctor I remember him telling me whilst he was still studying at School. Cancer sadly took both Richard and Anne and four years ago my lovely wife Jill too. Life can be so harsh and cruel. Love to his all his family in USA XXX

I only recently heard of the passing of my friend and mentor Richard Davies, We were close when he and his family lived in San Diego, but sadly lost touch in recent yers. Richard was an excellent surgeon and a caring and kind human being with a sharp mind and wit. I am sad he left the world and his family so prematurely.

I live in the UK and used to spend a week or so as a child with my older Cousins Richard and his Sister Ann. We would play in the fields, climb trees and fish in a local River/Lake. So sad I was not able to make the Funeral. They both spoiled me as a child and I have a lot of very happy memories with them in Benacre Wiltshire where they grew up. Richard and Ann both taken too young. RIP

When we were at school together it was already clear that Richard would go far.
He was kind and gentle with an unusual and powerful sense of humour and a sharp intellect.
He has made a difference for so many people and will be sadly missed.

I was at high school with Richard and - until last year - had lost touch with him. At school he was a good friend and a hard working student.

Last year it was a joy to meet up with him again and to meet his wonderful family.

He will be greatly missed.

We were at school together in England. In those days, Richard was studious, bright, mature and very independently-minded. He was also unfailingly good humoured. On meeting again after a gap of more than thirty years, all those qualities were still very much in evidence. It was a joy to reconnect with Richard and it is a corresponding sadness to lose him. My thoughts are with his family.

Richard Davies was an exemplary surgeon, family man and human being. We were at high school together and he always impressed me with his ability to combine a serious approach to his studies and a gentle sense of humour. His passing was a great shock to me and my thoughts are with Mary and the family at such a difficult time. We were lucky to have known him.

I was a patient of Dr. Davies that so appreciated all he did for me and so many others. My thoughts and prayers are with Mary, Keely, Courtney and Spencer.
