Not sure what to say?

Hard to believe almost a year has passed....
Sending my love to the Decker Family!

To the Decker family,
Everyone knows my daughter worked for him and grew to think of him as a part of the family as we all did. My heart goes out to all of you. I have two voice mails on my phone message machine with him letting me know my watch was ready; and I just have not been able to erase it and not sure when or if I will. I hope your all doing well. Love, Marlene Kamiya

We are celebrating a year since the passing, and I wanted you to know that everytime we drive by the former Decker Jewelers store, we think of ALL of you!

Decker Family,
I was saddened to hear about the loss of your father/husband. He was such a kind and funny man! I hope you are comforted by all the wonderful memories and knowing that he touched so many lives.
Warm Regards, Lydia Jardine-Moulin

Dick was a special friend and loyal supporter of Piedmont Hills athletics. I always enjoyed talking basketball with Dick as he repaired my watch or just changed batteries. I knew all the Decker kids as they passed through PHHS. I feel so sorry for their loss; Dick was a wonderful man and will be sorely missed but greatly remembered.

I am one of the teachers at Piedmont Hills High School and I was the good friend of Paul Fernandes. Years ago, I needed some engraving done and Fernandes told me, "Take it to Decker and he'll take care of you!" Since then I got to know Dick, and I saw him at many PH football and basketball games proudly wearing that PH jacket that he asked me to get for him. He asked me to "keep an eye on" his grand daughter for him while she was a student at PH, and I...

Char, Rick, Trish, and David... We are so sorry to hear of Dick's passing. He was a joy to be around and we will miss him dearly.
with love

Trish, I just heard about your father's passing from Pam this morning. He was well-liked and a great member of the community. I'm also sorry to hear about Matt's father. My best wishes to you, your family and Matt (on his father's passing)

I couldn't believe the news about Dick's passing. My sincere condolences and prayer's to Charlene and the entire Decker family. I greatly enjoyed knowing Dick and chatting with him while delivering the mail. I will always remember our conversations. He was a wonderful person and a true craftsman at his profession. May happy memories help ease the pain of your loss. Remember, Dick is still beside his family and will be waiting behind God's door for everyone to see him again.
