RIP my friend. I won't be able to make the celebration of your life in person but my thoughts are with your family and friends. Ride on!

My deepest condolences to the entire DeForest family. Rick was a wonderful, giving, amazing soul. Although it'd been many years, I was blessed to know him.
Rest easy Rick, we will meet again .

When I lived in Colorado in Wellington Rick was one of my close neighbors and he was always quick with a smile ready for a ride and was the best dam bar tender in Northern Colorado you'll be greatly missed I can't even contain myself at this point so I'm going to stop here!

You will be missed my friend. Glad I got to know you from AJ's. RIP....... Thoughts and Prayers to the family. Teresa Masker

Ride in peace brother !!!

Rick was one of the greatest things in my life. He was there for me in childhood and adulthood guiding me along the way. He was a prominent father figure who always made the time for me. My deepest condolences to the family.
