Not sure what to say?

It seems like yesterday I was lining up against Dick in football. He also played football and basketball as well as running in track. We were not able to beat Rafer Johnson in those sports either.

At the decade reunion Dick was the first one I met in the lobby and it brought back a lot of memories. Dick, you accomplished a great deal since our days at WUHS. Our best to your family.

To the family that will morn the passing of Dick, you will be in my thoughts and prayers; although I did not get to meet you in person, I feel I know you as Dick shared stories and thoughts about you with me. I got to know Dick in his autumn years while we shared a glass of wine or two and exchanged stories, puns, riddles, and "who can out think the other the fastest" as well as "gotcha". So sorry to receive this news. My husband and I went to High School with Dick at Woodlake. My husband passed away last November so I am experiencing losing someone close. My prayers are with all of you and know that God has his arms wrapped around all of you during this time. Fanchon Buchholz Owen

I'm so sorry for your loss. Our church loves his niece, Carol, and we was praying with her family for Dick to get better. I am happy to know that he is with our Lord Jesus and we will be able to meet him soon.

I am so sorry to hear about your father. I have known your father since I was very young since I also grew up in Elderwood. May God bless you and your family. You will be in my prayers.

I am so so sorry. Dick and I knew each other pretty well when we were young and had some good times. Bless you all and I will add him to my prayers. Phyllis Coffelt

Deitz kids,
I've known your family my whole life, and I know what a huge presence your dad was in all your lives. He was a pisser!
I rejoice in where he's celebrating eternity and hope the Lord blesses you all with peace during the time ahead. Keep the memories of all the good times with your dad close to your heart, they will get you through the tough times.
My thoughts and prayers continue to be with you. My love to you all...

I'm sure Brenda remembers that Dick taught me how to drive a stick shift in that little blue car Becky used to drive! My love and prayers go out to you all. May God's grace surround you and comfort you.
