I had the joy of playing Scrabble with Dick at the Senior Center. He played well and was a bright conversationalist. He always encouraged us to play Mexican Train! Please accept my sincere sympathy- Janet Spasiano

My heart breaks for all of you and please know that you are in my prayers. May this time of sorrow and pain be short and may the smiles of the many great memories, and bad jokes, be close at hand and stay with you forever. I love you guys. Passing along strength and happiness.

Dick has always been the comedian, always ready with a joke or two, even though sometimes they were a bit off the beaten path. Condolences to his family.

The members of the Hartford Public High School Class of 1957 send our deepest sympathy. Dick was an active alumni of our class and years ago worked on the reunion committee. We are thankful that he was able to join us at our 60th Reunion last year.

My thoughts, prayers & deepest condolences go out to the family, friends & associates of Dick Delaney. I knew Dick way back when we were in high school (he attended Hartford High & I attended Mt.St. Joseph Academy) & I was dating one of his close friends. I will always remember Dick as a nice guy, lot's of fun to be with, part of my history and youth. May he rest in eternal peace and may the perpetual light shine upon him.
