My sincerest condolences to Rick's family and to all those who were closest to him. Rick and I were band mates in The Ascots, along with Pete Mayhew, Mark Vinbury and my brother Vin Medbury. Many of our original rehearsals were in the basement of Rick's parents' house and I remember Rick's Mom as being very supportive of the band in it's earliest stages. Condolences for the Desilet's family. Rick was a really nice guy. Worked for him in the early 80's at the nursing home, never had a bad thing to say. Always saw him at mass, true to form a nod and a smile. May he rest in peace.
