Not sure what to say?

I love you grandpa, and all your stories, even though I had known for many months that you would eventually leave us, I still can’t seem to let the thought of you go...I didn't want you to go, but I knew in my heart it would be better for you. I will forever treasure everything you gave me and everything you taught me, before and while your mind slowly began to slip away from us. I understand all the moments when you did not know who I was, I know it was apart of the disease. I love you...

Grandpop- or should I say "pop" "pop". You would always try to get me to call you that, but being stubborn I always called you grandpop instead.
I know that he loved me regardless, and I always had a special place in his heart. We became very close in his final years, and I got a chance to get to know him a lot better as an adult. I am so proud of him for all that he did in his life for his country, family, and friends; moreover, he was a very hard working man, and I will always admire...

Mrs. Dickson: My sympathies to you and your family at this sad time. I often remember visiting with Dick and Harry at Harry's home, and enjoyed talking with them about the models they were making, and the pizza they were about to have ! If there's anything I can do at this time, please call on me.
