young adulthood being guided toward my inner light by Dickson! The last time I saw him I was performing in Vallejo California with Norman Connors. Unexpectedly, a man walked up to me and said “baby...

SORRY TO HEAR OF THE LOSS OF RICHARD. I REMEMBER HIM SINGING IN A GROUP CALLED "THE WEBS" OF WHICH MY HUSBAND L. J. JOHNSON AND I BELIEVE LOUIE BRUNSON WERE MEMBERS. OH WHAT A HEAVENLY CHOIR THERE IS GOING TO BE.

So sorry for your loss. I went to Junior High with Richard and was very impressed with him. Though I only knew him a few years I never forgot him. He always had a smile and made people laugh. He was one of my favorite people during those years. Even then he was musically inclined and extremely entertaining. Richard was a beautiful person and stood heads above his peers.
