Richard's mother and I were neighbors in West Hartford. Richard was always around looking in on his mom, and we got to know each other as "neighbors." Richard & I took turns shoveling the snow off the walk at his mothers so he wouldn't have to make the trip over the mountain, and Richard helped my young family with many projects as "new home owners." He was always kind, jovial, and willing to lend a hand. I am grateful for all the advice he shared with me about life and taking care of a home....
