Not sure what to say?

Mr. Dix was a kind and gentle man who always treated me very well, and he and Mrs. Dix brought three fine people into the world, while clearly helping hundreds of others on their way. He was a great role model to everyone in the neighborhood, steadfastly taking his daily walks as he recovered from his bypass surgery. I'll miss you, Mr. Dix...the world was a better place because of you.

Dear Betty and Family,
We cherish you all as our summertime neighbors. We're sorry for your loss and will miss Dick very much. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
With deepest sympathy,

Mr. Dix was a wonderful teacher!! I attended Coolidge Elementary more than thirty years ago and still remember him quite fondly as one of the kindest, patient, and understanding teachers I ever had. I still have the wood carving he made for each of us. My deepest condolences to the family. Kim Ray - Grand Rapids, MI

John, Dave, and families,

I'm sorry for your loss. Your dad always had a cheerful, welcoming smile for me, and all of us in the neighborhood. Those types of memories stay with us.

I remember Mr. Dix as principal of Dort School when as a 20 year old coop student I was assigned to teach 2nd grade at Dort. I express my sympathy to the family.

So sorry for your loss. Mr. Dix was my 5th grade teacher at Coolidge Elementary School. I remember him as a kind teacher and I liked him very much. Danell Kruger, Murfreesboro, TN

He was my 5th grade Teacher at Coolidge Elementary and he was One of the BEST. He gave us all Our Names carved out of wood.. I still have mine somewhere!! I'll never forget one day when the Math Teacher Mrs. Andersen Played a prank on him when we all had a piece of chocolate for a Treat she snuck the fake piece in there .. And he popped it in his mouth got a funny look on his face and we all just Roared in Laughter... Good days... He was a Wonderful Teacher..Very Kind and Compassionate..

I worked with Mr. Dix when I first started working in the early
childhood program out of the Adm. Bld.
what a nice, gental, kind person.
Truly sorry for your loss
