Richard "Rick" Dobson

I'm just now finding out about Rick's passing. I'm devastated and incredibly saddened by this. I didn't know Rick personally, but even as an acquaintance he left a lasting impression upon me.

I worked security back in the early 2000s at Terminal 6 in Portland, where Rick worked for the BNSF. He always came in driving an old brown or gold Honda hatchback, and he ALWAYS had a smile on his face. He was ALWAYS happy about something. And he must have loved that car; I rarely recall...

Thank you for all your hard work putting on such a wonderful memorial for Rick. It was so nice to hear Ricks life story and all the memories people shared. His smile always brightened the yard office.

Rick's light shines brightly. I'm so thankful to have had him in our life. My prayers and thoughts are with you Cheryl. So many great memories and laughter to revisit. Love you.
