DOHERTY, Richard S. A self-employed entrepreneur and restaurant owner died peacefully June 28, 2016 after a brief illness. He was 67 years old. Rick was a proud and decorated veteran of the U.S. Army serving in Vietnam, recipient of the Bronze Star. He owned Rick's Cafe in Randolph for 20 years....

Again, my deepest sympathy to the family. As I'm thinking of Rick today, I have to smile :) So many wonderful nights at the piano !!!!

Rosemary, Rick and the family! I have so many wonderful memories at Rick's Cafe, I can't even count them. So many nights Rick sat at the piano with me, and usually a pretty girl, and we sang & laughed, and then some... :) He loved his Elvis :) He was soooooo good to me for so many years at the piano. I remember one snowy night, I walked in to play piano. Rick said, Jon it will be real slow...how would you like to go to a Patriots game with us? He had an extra seat !!! So many memorable New...

I'm sorry to have just heard of Rick's passing my deepest sympathies to his family .
