Not sure what to say?

I knew him as Uncle Dick because he was my father´s (Brett Branch) childhood friend and he was my Godfather. He never missed sending me a birthday and Christmas card. Even though I live in Seattle he would call me every year just to make sure I was okay. He was a wonderful person. Always happy and smiling. That´s how I´ll always remember him.

Dick and I were friends since we were10 years old. One of my fondest memories is riding our bikes to Ames Field and sitting on the wall watching the White Caps play ball. After moving from Michigan City, Dick continued to watch over my family and became best friends with my brother George. Dick was one that helped others all his life. He was just a good guy. I will always cherish the memories we made. Prayers for his family. Brett Branch

I saw Dick at Aldi this summer he's like "Susie...
