Not sure what to say?

Dad, words can't express how much you've meant to me and how much I'll miss you. Although I feel lost now, I am confident that the life lessons you and mom bestowed upon me will carry me and my family through till we meet again. I love you.

It's hard for me to write about a person whom I've known & loved my whole life. There's so much that I'd like to say. The whole Donahue family were so accepting of me as a young child. Betty & Beanie were both my substitute parents. They were loving, nurturing & hysterically funny. But, Beanie was such a straight-up colorful character! His stories and sense of humor were priceless. His patience with us was amazing! (OK, even when he wasn't so patient; he was still good natured & hilarious.)...

So sorry for your loss! He's now released from that body & in a better place. Jerry McGovern

Lorrie and family,
My thanks to Beanie and your mom for moving their young family into our childhood neighborhood. You were among my first friends and will remain a dear friend for life. I am so sorry for your loss but happy your dad finally has the peace he deserves. You were blessed with wonderful parents and have great memories to cherish. Prayers and love to all of you.

Paw Paw,I'm the one who posted that picture of you reading to us because that is the way I will always think of
you. No one in the world could read or tell a story like you. No
one could ever invent funnier
nicknames or make up sillier
words than you--thank you for everything you've done for us. I love you and miss you.

Richard (Beanie) was a good man. As always, my prayers are with the family at this time. Mitzi

Dear Lorrie, Rickie, and Timmy,
I was sorry to hear the news about your Dad. May it be of some comfort to all of you knowing that others like myself have fond memories of Mr. Donahue and share in your loss. I will keep all of you in my prayers.
