I worked with Dick from the time I started a State Savings Bank in 1957. We both retired together at the end of 1996. I hunted and fished with Dick for years, and we both joined a Retirees Lunchen group which still meets once a Month. Dick will be missed greatly my myself and all of his family and many friends. My sincere condolences to the Donner family.

Patty and I were deeply saddened to learn of Dick's passing from good friend Brenda Kapp. Dick exemplified the very best in a community banker to our customers at National Bank and Trust and, as it was later known, NBD. To fellow employees, Dick was the go to resource for any question, issue, situation or problem. He simply knew everything about everything.

A great family man, we so enjoyed our times away from the bank with Rosie, Jimmy, Dan, Pam and Amy. You have our heartfelt...

I also worked with Dick at National Bank & Trust in Ann Arbor. He was always helpful and very professional.
