Not sure what to say?

I was a student at ABRHS from1968 to 1971 and had the great privilege of being a member of Mr Dow´s very first coaching season. I remember going to Buffalo NY as a shot putter at the junior Olympics

Mrs Dow
I can not begin to express my feeling in regards to the passing of such an important person in my life. Dick was more than just a coach to me he was friend and mentor without equal. Dear Mrs.Dow and family,
I would like to send to you my deepest sympathies. Mr. Dow helped me so much in track and field. He let me work out at ABRHS winters though I was from Littleton. He was inspirational, dedicated and kind. I'm so sorry for your loss. God Bless! Anne Stenstrom Tarca Littleton, Ma.

Dear Mrs. Dow and Family:

There are many fine memories and stories that can be told of the years and successes that Dick achieved while at ABRHS. The quality of students and athletes can directly be linked to the efforts of people like Coach Dow. As you know it is the strong support of the families that allow the best teachers and coaches to give their all to the...

May wonderful memories of this great man comfort you. He has touched many of us through his years at AB. Thoughts and prayers to the Dow Family.

Rosie and family,

I am so sorry to hear of Dick's death. John and I remember so fondly our wonderful visit with you in New Bern. I remember the fun times we all had in the teacher's lounge all those many years ago, and I remember the help he gave the Foreign Language Department during Foreign Language Week. I know he will be greatly missed. Our prayers are with you Rosie and with your family. May God be with you.
