Dear Marie, I am so so sorry to hear the sad news about Dick. I have so many happy memories of our time as next door neighbors in East Lansing. Bud and I were so happy to see to see you at the beach, Love, Mathilde

I had the privilege of taking several classes from Dick during my time in the UM planning program and "playing" several games he (and Al Feldt) ran and found him to be one of the most delightful human beings I've known since. Intelligent, sparkling, witty, compassionate -- I don't have enough words. My heartfelt condolences to all of his family.

Lynda and family, I'm sorry for your loss. I would occasionally run into your Dad when I walked my dog by the lake. This was back in the day. The chats were brief, but he was a really nice guy and I enjoyed talking to him.
