Not sure what to say?

I am speechless. Will be missed and abundant of memories cherished. Rest easy my dear friend. Miss you until we see you on the other side.

Hillary,Hailey I'm so sorry for your loss. I know how much your father ment to both of you and the kids.

It was a shock to see Ric's obituary while looking for another one. He was always a help and friend when scheduling SCV events. He never failed to take part and bring his friends with him. The Battle of Blountville has not been the same since he left. He, Shelia and many more put on a great event. on Dang that is really sad. The 13th NCT Co B fell in with him at Mill Springs and Blountville. He treated my men very well and we enjoyed his jokes and stories. I had stayed in touch with him. RIP Sir and prayers for his family. 1st Sgt Carl Howerton Unit Commander

I remember my friend Ric at many reenactments and living histories. I have so many great memories of Ric on the field and in Camp. It´s a deep sadness to the reenactment community.

This family has my prayer support. I've know Ric through the Tri Cities Civil War Round Table and our shared Fun Fest Civil War events. He took a few of us on tours of the Battle of Blountville. It was a shock to learn of his passing. We shall see him "over there." Wayne Strong
