Not sure what to say?

I just found Richard's obituary. Someone recently asked me where I bought my Schilke double trumpet case. I had to think about it for a little while and then remembered Mr. Dundas. I'm not sure how I found him Richard but I had bought a like new Schilke Bb trumpet from an acquaintance but the trumpet had no case. Then I found Richard. I will think of him every time I play the Schilke. RIP.

I had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Richard Dundas sometime in the late 1990's while touring with a Brass Quintet and performig up in Rutland, VT. After the concert we started talking and he invited me to his house to look at and try out several C Trumpets. I traded my French Besson C to him for a very nice Yamaha C Trumpet and still have a copy of his Book about the History of Brass Instruments. he was a very knowledgeable, kind gentleman. Rest in Peace sir.

Uncle Rick was caring, candid, and dynamic in his own unique way. I thoroughly enjoy my memories of him, and always will.

Miss you so much Richard. You taught and helped me so much and for that I will be forever grateful.

Richard Dundas was the kindest, most gentle person I ever met. How lucky I've been to have had his friendship. AV

Dear Marjorie,
My sympathy at the loss of your father. What an accomplished man who contributed greatly to Rutland and to the state!

Dr. Dundas -- I remember him so well from my days at Castleton State College. He was a kind and calm person. I was one of the first graduates in his Business Education Program, and very well may have not attended college if that program had not been available locally. Thank you Dr. Dundas for your work at Castleton.

Dr Dundas was my guidance counselor in HS, I hope his family find comfort in their memories of him.

I will miss his stories and his knowledge. Such a distinguished and fun person to be with. I will always remember our times together. For the family I am sorry for your loss and my thoughts are with you all.
