Not sure what to say?

Occasionally a family will impact a community with a profoundness that lasts for generations. Sometimes it is through their good works and selfless service; sometimes it’s through their commitment to friends and family.

Together Jacky and Dick were all these things. And I’ll miss the team that was “the Dick and Jacky show”. But I will remember Dick fondly for his wry smile and humor. The way I felt when I was with him, always present in the conversation, even in the end. I am...

Dear Mrs. Durrell & Family,

I'm very sorry to hear of the loss of your husband Richard. Unfortunately, I never had the pleasure to meet him- or you for that matter- but I had the honor of going to elementary, junior high and High school with your son Brad.Out of all of my classmates growing up, Brad was by far one of the nicest guys I have ever met.Like father like son. Please send my regards.

My thoughts and prayers are with you.

God Bless.

Sincerely,

Joe...

Jacky,

I met your husband when he spoke to my senior advertising class at the University of Florida about 11 years ago. We chatted after his speech and learned that we were both residents of Vero Beach with family in Minnesota. From that point on, he took an interest in my career path and always had great advice to give me. He even met my parents, who had him over for dinner, and they loved him right away.

I just want you to know that Dick was one of the most personable,...

My thoughts and prayers are with your family. I am sure Dick is watching from above and also prays with us. What a great guy. I just wish we had been able to spend more time with him in the last few years.

We will miss Dick and always remember the days when we played American Legion baseball as young men. We remember Dick as a great leader and competitive athlete. I will especially remember attending Spring Training games with "Stretch" in Vero Beach. Our deepest, heartfelt sympathies go out to Jacky and family. You're in our thoughts.

Our deepest love and prayers to Jackie and the family.

To the Durrell Family,
Those we Love remain with us,
for Love itself lives on.
Cherished memories never fade,
because one loved is gone.
Those we Love can never be,
more than a thought apart,
for as long as there's a memory,
they live on in our heart.
Your loved one will always hold a special place in your hearts.
My sincerest sympathy to you.
