Not sure what to say?

Sorry to hear of Mr Dutton’s passing. He was a great Principle of Delavan Elementary. He touched a lot of lives.

My 40 year teaching career began in the summer of 1979 when I walked into the Delavan School building and interviewed with Mr.Dutton. I have always been so grateful for those early years and have many fond memories working for him. My prayers go out to Joyce and the Dutton family.

I am so sorry to hear of Mr. Dutton's passing. I always enjoyed his sense of humor.

I was surprised and sorry to hear of Mr. Dutton's passing. He was my junior high math teacher in Hopedale. I remember his smile and willingness to help students. I had a tough time with junior high math. Saw him a couple years ago at my high school class reunion and at Ann Prater's service. I know the children won't remember this, but we were country neighbors when you lived on Toboggan Avenue, and I babysat for them a time or two when Linda couldn't. You have wonderful memories to keep him...

Many, many wonderful memories growing up with your children!

I Am So Sorry To Here About Your Husband! He Was A Great Principal When We Went Delavan Grade School!

I encouraged Dick to write down some of the funniest things he heard from kids at school. One time he drove a bus to pick up kindergarten kids. My youngest son was wearing a St. Louis Cardinal shirt and when Dick told him he could only pick up Cub fans, my son quickly told him that he liked the Cubs too! I hope there may be a special place in heaven for educators like Dick. He was the best for the kids. Judy and I extend our sincere condolences to you, Joyce and all your family .

Joyce....to you and your family I extend my sincere condolences on the loss of your husband. I've missed seeing you since our retirements and I wish you best.

I will sure miss visiting with you when I come to your home to see Joyce. We've had some good conversations and you were a big help in enabling Joyce to join our Zoom book club gatherings during this past year.
