Not sure what to say?

Dear Doris and Family, I just heard of your loss from Betty (Eastman) Taylor. It is with deep sadness that I was not able to keep in touch with relatives and not able to know Dick thru the years. May God and His Son lighten your burden of sorrow. Gilbert R. Eastman

Dear Doris and family, I am so sorry to hear (from my mom) of Mr. Eastman passing.I remember him from long ago, playing in their backyard, football mostly. He always had some humourous comment to make about us playing football. You are in my thoughts and prayers. Kim Ridley(Richards)

Doris, I am keeping you and Dick in my prayers. I worked with Dick at the Disney Store for almost 9 years. He was the nicest man, always a smile on his face and a joke or trick up his sleeve. He will be deeply missed. God Bless you and yours....Janet Huber

Grant Bright wrote, "How long after you are gone will ripples remain as evidence that you were cast into the pool of life?" The answer to this question for my Uncle Dick is until no one who knew him remains. For all his charm, wit, caring and love are passed to everyone he came into contact with. I wish circumstances would allow me to be there for you Aunt Doris and Rik but know that my thoughts and prayers have been since I heard.

So sorry to learn of your loss. God bless your family.
Amy Tomblinson

Dear Doris,
Our thoughts and prayers are with you. Though we've only met up a few times, you and Dick bring a smile to my life every time I think about you. You are two of the good ones! Like Daddy, Dick left this world too soon. I imagine they've gotten back together and are telling stories (mostly lies) and laughing. God bless you and yours.

Dear Doris and Rik,

I was so sad when mom told me about Dick. I haven't seen him in a while but what a great man. I will always remember him because he would always try to suck out my eyeballs. You are in my thoughts and prayers. May god bless you at this time.

Dear Doris and Family
We are sorry to hear of Dick's passing. We regret that we are unable to be there with you as we are already in Florida for the winter. We enjoyed seeing both of you in Florida and Michigan this summer, and will always cherish the time we spent together. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Hope to see you soon.

Doris and Rik,
You are in our prayers and thoughts. MANY years ago Dick launched my career at GM. I truly enjoyed his wry humor. If it weren't for the kibitzing, we'd have gone crazy. Dick was my mentor, and a good one! I actually used what he taught me until the day I retired from GM.
