Not sure what to say?

Dick was a good " barbershopping" friend. We did several things with Dick and Marilynn. We shared our football and coaching experiences and enjoyed being together. Our lives were enriched by knowing him. I'm so sorry to be late with this condolence. We feel a great loss of a fine man and friend. Our sympathies are with you on the loss of your father. He was so proud of his family. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Sincerely,
Chuck and Carol Lee Thompson

I sang with Dick in the Desertaires. He was a fun and kind man. We spent several evenings with Dick and Marilyn and always had a good time. We both coached football and shared stories of our times coaching.
We are so sorry to learn of his passing. Our lives were enriched by knowing him.
Our sympathies are with you, Marilyn, and your family.

Our Condolences to Marilyn. He leaves many memories for all who knew him. Go Ducks! Conrad and Jane Larsen

A truly wonderful man. Love and prayers to Marilyn and family.

Thanks again for being such an amazing coach and truly a down to earth man. What did always say to us defensive lineman? "Get lower than whale poop on the ocean floor!"

Dick, you will be forever remembered and loved by all of the group reps you hired, trained and made successful. You were an inspiration and great friend and I will always remember and cherish the days together at Guarantee Life!!!

A wonderful person, mentor, and role model. An authentic man and leader who made a difference in the world around him. We are all consoled by our memories and lives touched by Dick. Perge'

Condolences to the family and especially to you, Marilyn, upon losing the love of your life. Remembering how totally you fell for each other so long ago at the U of O. Nice memories of a true love.
