Growing up with Rich was always adventure. He made you laugh, cry at times and was typically the life of the party. He was a gentle “tease” but never a mean word spoken to anyone. He was known as the go to person when anything was broken and always willing to lend a hand. He taught me how to change the oil, spark plugs and a flat tire for my car. I was proud to call him my big brother and he has left a void in our family of 6 now.
Love,
Rose

Peggy: we were shocked and saddened to hear about Rich´s passing...he was a fun neighbor and silly guy who always made you laugh...quick witted, sharp tongue...now he rests in no pain. Am sure your kids will help you thru this difficult time as you all share great memories of him as husband and dad...and grandpa! Love and prayers sent...

Our deepest sympathy to you and your family.

Praying for comfort for all the family and friends you leave behind. Uncle Rich, you are missed. I like to believe you are with Connor, watching over your loved ones here. ❤

My Condolences to the family of Richard it so sad to hear the news of his passing . I was his Company Commander of Co 463 at Great Lakes in 1969 . I wish he had felt better to come join us at Tom’s home when i was passing through Ohio in May . I wish him “ Fair Winds &Following Seas” and we will all be joinined in Heaven someday .

You left too soon, and are greatly missed by friends and family.

Dear Peggy and family, we are sending our deepest sympathy to you all. We will always remember Rich especially when we lived on Berkley Circle. He had the best sense of humor, so much fun. And hearing the Eckes family stories growing up is something you can not forget.
May the healing gifts of time and the timeless love of God carry you gently through the loss you're felling now. Wishing you peace soon, comfort now and wonderful memories forever.
Love, Marvin and Marie
