Not sure what to say?

I met Clay through the Timbers Army back in about 2003/4.

He was always a gentleman and a fine upstanding man. I can say I was proud to be a part of celebrating shared a love soccer ant the Timbers.

We were very sad to hear of Clay’s passing. Eric and I have fond memories of Clay at OSU and all the great times at Chi Phi. We stayed in touch after college, attended his wedding with our newborn son and were so happy for him down the road when Malcolm and Miranda were born. He was so proud of both of you. Clay was also my CPA for my business and I could always count on him for great advice and sharing stories of our mutual friends and great conversation and his tax expertise.

It was a pleasure to work for Clay, he was a very genuine man who was always going to shoot it straight. I will miss talking sports with him, and hearing him yell at his computer for something not working the way he wanted it to. My deepest condolences to his family, he will be missed greatly.

Clay's father, Dick, was a great mentor and immensely influential in the life of this young girl, encouraging my intellect--a rare thing in the 40's and 50's that made a real difference in...

I have many memories of Clay and Reppie (Replica--the airedale) and the neighborhood kids playing in the open field across from their home. Clay's father, Dick, was a mentor in my young life--a rare and incredibly influential person who encouraged the...

I am saddened to hear of Clay's passing. I will always remember our starting out our CPA careers at Perrin, MacMillan, & Miller. We learned a lot. Especially fond memories of crib games and PBR's with Dale at the Slammer Tavern after work. I think I still owed RC a couple PBR's... And of course the fun times at the Virginia Cafe... And studying for the CPA exam with the Becker Review Course - happened to be across from the Goose Hollow, this at the time of Bud Clark's first election. Very...
