Not sure what to say?

Well number 5... we miss you. Your sense of humor was really fun my KB (softball team) brother. Dance with the angels.

Worked with Richard at the Register-Pajaronian. We played many a softball game with a brewskies afterwards. Indeed he was funny and a good dude. Say hello to Bob Todd up there my brother. KB Hipp

The KB Kids remember. Miss your humor and good nature. This year another of our brothers left this world. I hope you and your good buddy BT are back together again. Goofing and laughing just like the old days. Miss you brother.

Richard and I worked together at the Register-Pajaronian newspaper in Watsonville. We shared many a giggle that's for sure. We also played on a few sports teams. He was a really good man. It was very sad when he moved away. It's harder now knowing of his passing. My thoughts and prayers go out to the family. KB my brother.

I was really shocked and saddened to hear of Richards death. He was always saying something funny and cracking me up when I would go over to the family's house when we were kids. He truly had his grandfathers sense of humor. What a drag.

I was so sorry to hear of your loss. The thoughts of many are with you at this time of sorrow.

What a shocker! Worked with Richard at the R-P. Wonderful guy. Wonder if he ever mentioned the KB Kids from Watsonville? Just a bunch of knuckleheads using any excuse to play/watch sports. He fit right in. What fun those days were.

Our crew is saddened to be sure. Many condolences to the family. Kiss the kids for us Alexandra. We remember.

See you "upstairs" someday bro.

Richard was one in a million. What a great sense of humor. He was a good friend and will be missed. He has left us far too soon. Condolences to Toni, Michael, Sam, and Rachel.

I would like to express my condolences to the Egan family. It's been forty years since we left San Mateo High School, I have always thought of the fun and laughter I shared with Richard. He was so much fun in high school. Alan Cook Castro Valley,CA.
