Knowing that Dick was attending a family event always made it more special. He was such a warm, interesting and outgoing individual. I am so sorry for his loss, but very grateful to have known him. His wartime accomplishments are amazing, but he never bragged about what he did or the international recognition that he so rightly received. His memory will truly be a blessing.
