Uncle Dick always had a cheerfulness that he shared from the moment he spotted you across the yard. He´d come toward you and welcome you like you´re family bringing the news of where everyone was and telling you to hurry up and join in. He had the sparkle in his eyes of a happy man. I remember Aunt Adele telling me about his second career delivering house titles to new homeowners. And, my brother Joe heading off with Uncle Dick to go fishing many times. Dick was my boss. A Super supervisor at Dykstra Food Service from 1995-1997. Working after school and through the summers. Great to have him teach me a strong work ethic to follow. He taught me to know my job. Prayers to the family. God bless you all!
