Richard Sam Elia

It is hard to believe that my dear friend and mentor has been gone for a year already! There isn´t a day that I don´t think of him. What I miss the most about him is our conversations, whether on the phone or by appointment in his office. I miss him so much.

I have known Richard since my kids were young and I was married then. Kids now young 30's. Richard had pulled me aside one visit and asked how I was doing. From that point, I had someone special that cared about my well being. Years later, I called him crying, asking for help finding a divorce attorney. Crying! From that time on, he continued to help me through sad losses. I became lost and I had kids that were depending on me as their mom. Losing my mom from brain cancer, year later my dad...

We offer our deepest sympathy in your loss. Though we hadn't met Richard S. Elia, we know he was a wonderful person. His son Richard and his wife, Delphia reflect his love and compasion. There just aren't adequate words to tell you how very sorry we are for your painful loss. Love and prayers to all the family.

It was a pleasure to have known Richard and he will be missed. He was a kind and unique gentleman. You are in our prayers.

My experience w/ Richard was his great love & respect for his wife, Delpha. He was a royal gentleman & kindness flowed from him. The world was better for Richard being in it. Now Heaven is rejoicing at his homecoming! But we will miss him until we meet again.
