Not sure what to say?

Miss you Rick. Still cannot believe you are not with us . We have a beautiful plant on our patio give to us by family & it is blooming like crazy. It makes me smile because I know you are happy in heaven.

Uncle Rick - Your smile, sense of humor, great story telling, spirited energy and laughter will always be a wonderful gift and memory. Your generosity, ability to listen and offer advice will always be treasured and a great example for all to follow. You will be missed, but always have a special place in our hearts.

I miss my broth-in-law, Rick. I met him over 40 years ago and have lots of wonderful memories. Whenever there was a family event everyone wanted to make sure Rick would attend and he usually made it. I wish I could have said goodbye to him. I will miss him . Love you Rick. Priscilla

I went to high school with Rick and remember him for his smile and friendliness! He was always happy and cheerful!! My condolences to his family at this time of great loss in his passing.

They say you never really know someone until you have worked with them and laughed with them. Add to that, having lived with them and drinking too much at times, singing family karaoke until the wee hours when our older brother was home from college, playing hearts all day in the line shack when the weather was bad, and watching Rick jump up and do his happy dance when he would win, always stopping to see Rick in Bakersfield on our travels and eating at JB & Marie's Basque on Oak Street,...

Hey Uncle Rick. I have to say, you were always kind. Always had something interesting going through that mind of yours. I always loved sitting and listening to you and my father go back and forth. I will never forget the time when you, uncle Phil, aunt Jeany were all sitting in the living room talking. Everything was so incredibly lively. I was young and focused on my video game, but stopped to listen intently to every word all of you said. When you spoke to your brothers and sisters, I...

Rick was a special person who was always fun to be around. He had an infectious personality and always lit up the room. Great sense of humor, one memory I´ll never forget was Rick around the enormous kitchen table with all of his brothers and sisters and stepbrother`s. He would never eat his peas. And if he was forced to eat them, he would take them like a pill one at a time. He will be missed and I´ll never forget him.

May your memories of the wonderful times you shared with your loved one comfort you and your family, today and always.

Hello! I am one of many great-nieces of Rick. He had a beautiful, smiling soul that lit up the room. I love and miss him very much.
