My condolences to Barbara. I knew Dick and Barbara from our shared work with the Landmarks Society. I have very fond memories of them and their wonderful home within Physic House. It was a museum within a museum!

I got to know cousin Dick well many years ago when I was an undergraduate student at Penn and he was living downtown. He was always very kind and a wealth of information and stories about family lore. I and the rest of the family will miss him.

Cousin Dick meant so much to me. Although he was five years older than me, we remained close all of our lives. We lived a block from each other and we shared life from going to grandpa and grandma's on Sunday afternoon to be with our other cousins, the Shop, going to Tatamy to the Book Barn (R. Books Messinger), The Shul, JCC, Camptown, Boy Scouts, Camp Weygadt, and in 1961, our Mississippi River trip. Dick was a true intellectual and he taught me a lot.
