Not sure what to say?

Richard! I still remember you and miss you! I never had a brother. Had I had one, I would pray he would be you. In life and in memories now I see and hear you still. Whenever you get your "wings" visit me again any time. I am moved to tell (or remind) you of my favorite poem: Abou Ben Adhem. I think of you as one who loved his fellow men! God speed still my brother.

God speed, Richard. From Indian Point to Palisades Michigan I remember and cherish our moments of brotherhood and comradeship. Thank you.

My name is William Gordon Dick, retired, Port Orange, Florida. I was a colleague of Rick's for several years on several commercial nuclear projects including Indian Point, NY, Palisades Michigan, Shoreham, and Millstone. He introduced me to a beautiful young lady from Massachusetts. She invited and took me to the Tanglewood summer music...

To Christine and Family,

On behalf of the Charleston Base SUBVETS and Swamp Fox Chapter SUBVETS WWII, I offer you our sincere condolences on Rick's passing. We grieve with you on the loss of your loved one and all SUBVETS and their families have your family in our thoughts and prayers. There is no expiration date on the back of our dolphins and Rick will always be remembered as a “Brother of the Phin” and a great Patriot.

I had not seen Richard since our high school graduation in 1959. So, I was delighted to see him at our 50th. reunion. I know he will be missed by many. My thoughts and prayers go out to all the family.

Even though we have only known Rick for a short time, he always had a smile for us...he was a true friend! John and Fern
