Not sure what to say?

Mr. Fairfield was my professor in my final studio class at EMU, a summer session of woodblock printing in 1999. He was a wonderful professor and I continue to feel his influence to the present. With deepest respect and gratitude, Barry Schorfhaar

I’m so sorry he passed. I took a painting class from him and he was great. I came back to visit and he was kind enough to show me aroundhe was so friendly! And a great teacher!

Dear Barbara I am saddened about Rich´s passing. He was a wonderful and kind teacher who became my role model for my 33 years of teaching art. When I joined his group in Florence , Italy in 1974 he made the experience fun and meaningful. He was special. May he Rest In Peace.

I´m so sorry for your loss. Professor Fairfield was always so kind. I graduated in 84. I went back in the 90´s to visit the school. He kindly gave me a tour. I took a painting class from him...he was a great teacher

Professor Fairfield taught me so much about life and art. He was truly a kind and giving person. He taught us so much about the possibilities that the world presents. My deepest condolences.

Professor Fairfield was the most amazing person and teacher, I had a life changing trip with him in Paris in 98' I will never forget him, I am sorry for your loss, for the world's loss!

I am so sorry for your loss. I graduated back in 84...he was a very nice man....

Dear Barb,

Please accept our deepest sympathy in the passing of Richard. He was not only an exceptional teacher, but a dear friend and will remain our mentor forever, always with a smile and a full bowl of candy. Our prayers are with you and your family.

Dear Barb,
My deepest condolences to you and your family. I am so very sorry to hear of Richards passing. I graduated 15 years ago and was very fond and challenged by your Richard. He was a great teacher full of knowledge and talent. Thank you for sharing him with us students.
