Dick Farkas inspired me to become even better, as a pastor.
His grace and encouragement were always accompanied by
A smile and a pat on the back! Even this many years after his
Untimely death, Dick still leaves an imprint on my life.

Lynda and family, I am so very sorry for your loss. I did not learn of your husband/father's passing until the services were over. Lynda, you were so loving and supportive when I needed it, I can only hope that my prayers can somehow reach your heart. I know he was your very best friend!

Colonel Farkas was the wing commnader when my wife (who was the first female missileer at our base) and I got married. Some of the senior staff made the transition to integrated male / female crews a difficult time but Colonel Farkas and his wife Linda were always very supportive. He was a role model for me and many others I am sure. He will be missed.
