Had not heard of Dick's passing.. so sorry. I will never forget the first time that I had the opportunity to meet Dick. He was our HR VP and guest speaker at a DEC HR offsite being held in Shrewsbury (circa 1993). He shared with us his value of practicing the first assumption'; IE react to a situation or issue based on the assumption that the other person (teammate; customer; colleague) is trying to do the right thing with the information they have. Thanks Dick. I have never forgotten this...

Dear Kathy I am so sorry for your loss.Richard was always a brother to me. We shared many happy and meaningful moments. He will always be in my thoughts and prayers.

Margot and I were shocked and deeply saddened to hear of Dick's passing. Our memories of Dick will always include his great smile, quick sense of humor and engaging personality. Unfortunately the miles precluded us from attending the funeral,however please know that you and all of your family were and continue to be in our thoughts and prayers.

Dear Kathy,
I was shocked with the news of Dick's sudden death. The details were provided by Frank and others at our favorite watering hole: The Silver Lounge.
Sadly. because of pastoral duties here I was unable to attend either the wake or the funeral. I will offer Mass for Dick tomorrow morning - the 18th.
