Richard John Federico

Richard John Federico April 13, 1941 – October 21, 2011 Ogden, UT – Early Friday October 21, 2011, Rick age 70, in the presence of his loving wife, Vicki, left our lives. Born April 13, 1941 in New York, NY, to Josephine and Dominick Federico. After graduating parochial school he immediately enlisted in the United States Air Force. He served in Vietnam, Turkey, England and many more. Retiring after 20 years of dutiful service, he retires a Master Sergeant in September of 1979. While stationed at Hill Air Force Base he met his current wife Vicki "Kim" Stark Federico and has been together since February 11, 1977. He also worked many years at the Ogden IRS. An avid Eagles member, attending several Eagles functions through the years. Cooking became a passion and an amazing accomplishment through the years Rick's family and friends grew to love and look forward to. He is survived by the love of his life for over 30 years Vicki Federico, daughter Danielle Federico of St.Petersburg, FL, Two Step-sons, Troy Stark of Ogden, UT and Todd Stark also of Ogden, UT. Also survived by 7 grandchildren, and 1 great-grandson. He is preceded in Death by both of his parents and one brother John Federico. The family would also like to extend thanks to Wasatch Care center for all the loving care they gave to Rick and his family. Services will be held at Leavitt's Mortuary, 836 36th Street, Ogden at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday October 25, 2011. Friends and family may attend a viewing Monday October 24, 2011 from 6-8 p.m. and Tuesday one hour prior to the services at the Mortuary.
