Richard Fehling Obituary
He was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Fort Wayne. He enjoyed his hobbies, flying his Cessna 172 and was a member of the EAA and enjoyed singing with the barbershop group.
Surviving are his twin daughters, Cherylyn (Hartley - passed away in 2013) Hyder and Marilyn (Jack) Morhart, both of Fort Wayne; five grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; nine step-great-grandchildren.
Richard was preceded in death by his wife, Jean Fehling, Jan. 31, 2015; and a great-grandson, Mitchell Hyder.
The funeral service is at D.O. McComb and Sons Pine Valley Park Funeral Home, 1320 E. Dupont Rd., Fort Wayne, Friday, June 19 at 10:30 a.m. with visitation one hour prior, Rev. Paul Offhaus will be officiating. Visitation is Thursday, June 18 from 2 to 5 p.m. and from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial is in Bowers Cemetery, Fort Wayne.
Memorials may be made to the Special Olympics or Southern Care Hospice Service.
