Not sure what to say?

I miss Dick, he was one of the good guys that was taken from us way too soon. We worked together for many years at Alcon and Akorn.

I knew Richard from St. Anne school. We were in many of the same classes. I lost contact when we went to different high schools. I would have liked to re-establish contact with him or any other "class of 1953" graduated. Again sorry to hear of your loss.

Dear Gunilla,
I am so sorry for your loss. Dick was my manager at Akorn. I could not have asked for a better manager. He truly enjoyed life. I always enjoyed his visits. He was a wonderful gentleman, teacher and friend. My heart is deeply saddened yet I am so happy that I had the opportunity to know Dick.
With deepest sympathy,
Kim

Ferland Family

My deepest sympathy to you in your time of grief. I had the pleasure of being on several teams with Richard at HPHS and remember him as a wonderful person, a joy to be with. May he rest in peace.

Dear Gunilla and The Ferland Family,
I was saddened to hear of Richie's passing.I have many fond memories of "The Duke of Ferl". Playin ball in the park or over Vicky's. Working at the pharmacy with him and Ray Veillieux. I'm sorry we did not keep in touch.
Please accept my deepest regrets and sympathy. May he rest in peace.
Tom Juneau

Gunilla:

I was lucky to have worked for Dick at Akorn. He was a Great boss, teacher and most importantly a friend.
I wish you and your family peace and strength.

"Ferls" is one heck of a guy. I knew him mainly from playing both with and against him on the tennis court. In the last few years we went to Red Sox spring training games. He loved to joke and clown around so everybody including himself would have a healthy laugh.

But he had other talents too.
I'll tell you "Ferls" made one heck of a fish chowder, which was a tradition on Labor Day at the Bronson's. You just had to come back for seconds. The fish had to be striped bass...

Gunilla,

Richard and I graduated from HPHS together. We also grew up together - I was a friend of Evelyn - and Richard, Ray Veilleux, Vicky and my brother Tommy Juneau were all friends.

My sympathy to you and your family,
(and the Girard family).
