Richard was born on April 19, 1950 and passed away on Sunday, February 7, 2016. Richard was a resident of Farmington, Illinois at the time of his passing. He attended primary school in Smithfield IL and graduated from Cuba High School in 1968.He studied for the ministry at Taylor University in Fort Wayne IN. He was married to Bonnie. We will celebrate Dickâs life on Saturday February 13 2016 at Anderson Sedgwick Funeral Home in Farmington with a visitation from 10:30 to noon followed by a Memorial service at noon. Cremation has been accorded. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to either Illinois Cancer Care 8940 N. Wood Sage Road Peoria IL 61615 or OSF Hospice 2265 W. Altorfer Drive Peoria IL 61515.

We appreciate the good memories we have of Dick and his family when he served as our pastor at Harmony Chapel in Michigan. We send our sympathy to children: Rick, Michelle and Steven; as well as Bonnie and Linda and all who mourn the early death of a kind and caring man. Richard FIDLER was our paster at Harmony CHAPLE church in Michigan for severel years and we were so blessed to have him and his family in our lives. He was such a good person to all who knew him. We missed him when he moved back home to help his father who was ill.He got married to his wonderful wife Bonnie who took such good care of dick through out all the time he was sick. I was so very sad to see this in the paper today. I will miss talking with Dick. He was one of the sweetest men I have known. He was ill and yet always asking about my Momma and praying for her. I know he is resting with Jesus and he heard "Well Done Good and Faithful Servant!" How wonderful to know we will see him again.
