Not sure what to say?

Sorry I just saw this when trying to look him up to see how he's been doing. I had a philosophy and computer programming course with him at UW Oshkosh. I helped him with his school work and he'd buy me alcohol and took me to see the movie "we were soldiers" as a thank you. Nice guy

I met Ric in the '80s when he was the roommate of my boyfriend who was attending UTMB in Galveston. I was just sorting thru some paperwork -- old articles that I had written -- and came across one I wrote about Ric. I've often wondered about him. Wish I had re-connected with him prior to his death. My condolences.

I sincerely wish my dearest condolences and prayerful thoughts to Rick's family. I never met Richard personally, but I was fortunate to buy his 2001 Chevy Express handicap van and it's a very nice van and was a Godsend for me.

I myself became C-2 quadriplegic and on a low fixed income. I asked God for help to find a good used van to provide a way to my church and to travel with family. I saw this on eBay and am blessed to have it. After reviewing all of it's independent driving...

My thought are with Rick and remember my first ride in his Corvette in 1976 while he was working at Gibson Chevorlet. I was introduced to him by Scott Schumacher. I lost track of him and learned of his boating injury years later and for many years lost rack of him while I was in the Marine Corps and working for the government. I was please to reconnected with Rick on facebook and learn his zeal for life was still strong. I know he will be missed by the many people in life he touched

Ric, if a journey begins with a single step then walk and run through the next one, happy, whole, complete.

My condolences to Ric's family and close friends---I meet Ric several years ago, and was saddened to hear of his passing. Ric was an incredibly nice individual, always upbeat and adventuresome in life. I recall having him picking me up for dinner in Anaheim, CA---driving on those busy highways with confidence and skill, I also recall Ric driving us to Road America for the races---something he thoroughly enjoyed doing. His hard work, determination and spirit shall be missed---K "Gus"...

To the Fink and Zimmerman families.
Please accept my condolences for Rick's passing. I am thinking of all of you.

God Speed my friend, Marty

Dick, Christin & family, So sorry to hear of Richard's passing. Although I never met him in person, I talked to him on the phone many times and he was always very kind. I could tell he had his father's sense of humor! =) May he rest in peace.
